My name is Michael Donaldson. I’ve worked in the music industry for over 25 years. In the late ‘90s, I was a recording artist and producer, responsible for albums and singles on Virgin Records and Astralwerks. I also produced remixes for other artists like Us3, Fila Brazillia, Rabbit In The Moon, Moloko, Yma Sumac, and (seriously) Lawrence Welk. And for the past 15 years, I’ve worked in music licensing, securing placements in shows and films such as Sex and the City, The Wire, CSI:Miami, and Spike Lee’s 25th Hour.
